Impressions of Crete (September 2018)

On a recent trip to the greek island of Crete I had the chance to encounter some dramatic fall weather in the coastal town of Rethimno.

Below are some of the images I made. The images are part of a series I call “Impressions of Crete”.

The first image shows of the dramatic fall sky in Rethimno. I find it has a kind of dystopian atmosphere.

In the next image, it appears that Zeus is active in the background to this aptly named hotel.

The receeding footsteps and folded parasols drew me into this frame with the given background.
